Starbucks offers a wide variety of drinks for customers to choose from including espresso-based drinks, frappuccinos and blended drinks, hot and cold teas, refreshers and iced coffees, as well as other specialty drinks like Nitro Cold Brews and cold foam cappuccinos.
Taste Test: Espresso Drinks
We tasted several espresso-based beverages from Starbucks including their signature latte, cappuccino, macchiato, americano, flat white, mocha, caramel macchiato, and espresso shots. All of these drinks were made with high-quality espresso beans that had been freshly ground for each drink. The flavor was strong but not overpowering with a smooth finish that lingered on the palate.
Taste Test: Frappuccinos and Blended Drinks
We also tested out some frappuccinos and blended drinks from Starbucks including their classic frappuccino flavors like mocha, caramel, vanilla bean, java chip, white chocolate mocha as well as some limited edition flavors like pumpkin spice latte frappuccino and salted caramel mocha frappuccino. All of these frappuccinos were creamy and flavorful with just the right amount of sweetness that was not too overpowering.
Taste Test: Hot and Cold Teas
We also tried out some hot and cold teas from Starbucks including their green tea latte with honey ginger syrup as well as their classic chai tea latte with cinnamon syrup. Both teas were flavorful without being overly sweet or bitter. The green tea latte was light yet flavorful while the chai tea latte had a bolder flavor profile that was still enjoyable without being too strong or overwhelming.
Taste Test: Refreshers and Iced Coffees
We also tested out some refreshers and iced coffees from Starbucks including their classic strawberry acai refresher with lemonade as well as their nitro cold brew with dark cocoa almondmilk foam. Both beverages were refreshing yet flavorful without being overly sweet or bitter. The strawberry acai refresher was light yet flavorful while the nitro cold brew had a bolder flavor profile that still wasn’t overwhelming or too strong for our taste buds.
Taste Test: Food Items
We also sampled some food items from Starbucks including their breakfast sandwiches like bacon egg & cheese croissant sandwich as well as their lunch sandwiches like turkey pesto panini sandwich with cranberry sauce spread on top. Both sandwiches were tasty without being overly greasy or heavy on the stomach after consumption. The bacon egg & cheese croissant sandwich was savory yet light while the turkey pesto panini sandwich had a bolder flavor profile that was still enjoyable without being too strong or overwhelming for our taste buds.
